GOD’S HAND

The morning of my fifth birthday, I saw God’s Hand!
It would be over twenty-five years before there would be another such sign,                                                                   both deeply imprinted in my mind.

The second time, a quarter of a century later, did not see anything, only felt and clearly heard The Holy Spirit speak the one word of “Equality”.

Moses also saw God’s Hand, write the Ten Commandments in stone, thousands of years ago. At least a thousand more years would pass before a king and his court would also watch God’s Hand write on the wall of their banquet hall, words the Prophet Daniel would later interpreted.*1

There are over 200 references to “God’s Hand” in Biblical Scriptures, most of the time, representing Supernatural Power of God. (See scriptural references at end of the book).

There are also more than 500 verses referring to the concept of “Equality”. (also at end).

This first sign was given to me at a young age so I could never think it had come from any merit of my own and to later realize the great importance of the one Holy Spirit Word of Prophecy, “Equality”.

For the year I was born, a man named Hitler became the elected Head of Germany. From his hands came orders for more evil, death, and destruction than has been caused by any one in history. At least partly because of his belief in inequality, that he felt, gave him the right to dominate, misuse, even to try and destroy all but his race of people.

Still our world is being ruled by some whose god is a negative spirit of inequality. We are the only ones, those of us living now, that can change this injustice in our religious, economic and political organizations.

Seek the guidance of The Holy Spirit, to do what you can do. We are still lacking equality, for the female half of God’s Image, within the Church, from where God’s morality should be flowing.

In the  Spring of 2011, the Holy Spirit lead me to witnessing in Rome, where the Holy Father Benedict XVI has influence over the majority of Christians in our world. He writes about our need for Equality in his address to the World Day of Peace, 2004, but has failed to put it into practice within the Church for the female half of God’s Image.

God chooses to work through human hands, only rarely by extra-ordinary ways, maybe to protect our precious free will, to assure us our future is in our hands. It is up to us, each of us, to be the most productive and creative as we can. To “Be fruitful” means more than just increasing the population.

The Holy Spirit is given as our guide to be within hearts turned to The Way of all the great Prophets, so you can know, without being told, what is right for you to do. For those willing to be, what Jesus called, “reborn”, or Jeremiah said in 31:31 would be the final covenant for God’s people.

To experience this spiritual “rebirth” you need to seek repentance, which means to be sorry and willing to turn from evil, to do good, walking humbly with God, by asking God’s Holy Spirit to daily guide you. If you do not, your own limited will and insight will often fail you, and doing negative things will hurt you as well as others.

Prophecy has been given since recorded history, we know, to warn us to change from going in the worst direction we are headed in, and go towards a better way, to prevent the worst that can happen from happening.

Scriptures we believe are inspired by God, yet we need to recognize they also come by and through the cultural minds of men, the male half of God’s Image (Genesis 1:27) is only one part of God’s Image. Both male and female God created in God’s Image.

Scriptures contain both universal “Logos” words, meant for all times and “Rhema” words, for a specific time, or place. As well as religious “history”, poetry, prose. God’s words as understood in those cultural times, by those males who wrote scriptures.

It takes pure and good motives, as well as The Holy Spirit’s gift of “discernment”, to be able to “see”, or rightly interpret all Scriptures. That’s why you must confirm with the Holy Spirit as well as the official interpretation, that is in the hands of Church’s Scholars, because how individuals interpret depends on what Image of God they worship, a Perfect God of Holy Love, or one of a more negative or of an imperfect nature?

The Devil is capable (demon angels) or if you just prefer the word negativeness that has a form of intelligence, that may even appear as an Angel of Light and will quote scriptures, out of context, to confuse when and where possible.

The oldest child of eventually four, growing up were mostly good times for me and many happy family experiences, such as all children should have the chance to have, while Hitler’s childhood was almost the opposite, with years of physical and mental abuse.

How difficult it is to understand the perfect, unconditional love God has for everyone, difficult when you haven’t, or seldom experienced such love from parents or caregivers. Thoughts and actions influence us deeply. Children learn to repeat the good or bad actions of those around them as they grow.

Our three major world religions, Judaism, Christian, and Islam are the Spiritual descendants from one founding ancestor, Abraham. All Children of Abraham as well as God.

Yet being male controlled, more aggressive than the female half of God’s Image, they spend much time, energy, and money conquering and being conquered, in numerous “Holy” wars against each other, down through history and still now!

How did this happen and what will it take to stop it? Isn’t it those in control of religion, politics, who are unwilling to live by the “Golden Rule”, by “Equality”, Equal Rights for all?.

Surely there can be no lasting peace until there are equal rights,  the right of individual freedoms that stop at someones “space”, are of more importance, than trying to manipulate others, or allowing others to be controled wrongly.

The more aggressive nature of male’s, worldwide, in religion and politics, need the balancing power of the more peace loving nature of the “female half of God’s Image” , from the first Creation Story in Genesis 1:27, or for non-believers, the female half of our human nature, which we all have within our DNA.

Women with their natural nesting instinct of family and home are more likely to want to talk and solve our increasingly dangerous world conflicts, rather than physically fight, and also are usually better at the talking needed to get that done!

No one has the right to hurt another, especially innocent children.

The original meaning for discipline is to disciple or to set an example! Hitting a child teaches that child to hit, who then learns to repeat the cycle of violence, usually to someone smaller.

Women and children are more physically, emotionally, and sexually abused, and child slave labor is still being practiced, in our world!

Starvation and hunger is a daily reality for many, not because there is not enough food, but because missiles, guns and greed are more important to those we keep allowing to control our world. Our root problem being “Idolatry”. One form of Idolatry is the belief and practice of inequality!

We can make just about anything our god, and if it is less than the best that is “Holy Love” it is Idolatrous, the most deadly for the soul and one of the most common of sins.

Inequality causes an injustice that creates for us a real world-wide insecurity, and constant danger. It has been about two hundred years since slavery was ended here in the US. Less than a 100 years that women have had the right to vote. It is not possible in some countries still for women to vote, or even voice their real feelings, being legally the property of males.

We stand here on the threshold of possibly electing a black President for the first time and “18 million cracks in the glass ceilings” for women this August of 2008’s Democratic National Convention for President of the United States of America. We are morally evolving but there could be back-lashing and will be, the question is whether the tide has turned towards Universal Democracy in peoples hearts and whether those in power will allow it or keep discrimination alive by threatening their own safety by causing a world wide disaster or starting to find ways to create more hatred and division because of race or sex?
Sometimes we become guilty of sin or evil, not by what we do, but what we fail to do! This is especially true when we become aware of others suffering and pretend it doesn’t exist or is not important! Yet what affects the least in some ways will affect us. Maybe it seems we can do little at the time but pray, yet to ignore what you know to be true and do nothing is to chance hardening you’re own heart. Have you heard what happens to hardened arteries?

The middle sixties saw a renewal of civil rights movements and Vatican II, which ending in 1965. Bishops met then, as they have about ever 100 years, to more clearly clarify interpretations of Scriptures for the church in our times, part of the Holy Spirits leading us to the fullness of truth, Jesus promised us.

The same scriptures that the world Bishops were called together and decided what documents they had at that time to include in the first Bible, for the Church then. This became one of the first Christian world councils in Rome, under Emperor Constantine, between 310-15 AD.

Soon after Christianity went from a persecuted religion to become the state religion!
The writings in our present New Testament and what was taken from Jewish Scriptures, now called The Bible, were written by those Bishops, at that time, who gathered in Rome, under the control of the then World Emperor, Constantine.
Only men were allowed to take part in that and succeeding councils. Yet in the first 300 years, after Jesus death, women had had more of an equal say within the Church, as it had been Jesus position that women were treated as equals. Mary Magdalene was the first to announce the resurrection, our hope for our own immortal life and Scriptures tell us Martha was told by Jesus that another Mary would be allowed to sit and learn with the other disciples, rather than be required to work in the kitchen.
Yet in public they were not allowed to talk with the men in the synagogues or in the streets, as women were not allowed in that culture to talk to a man outside their home, legally they could be stoned, as they were legally the property of their Fathers, until their marriage.
That first world council of the first versions of what are now known to be five copies of our presently translated Christian Bible, held in Vatican Library vaults. Later two more Councils during the next 100 years or more, tweeked the words that went in or were taken out.
Only fragments or portions of any earlier original N.T. documents exist, according to one of the few Priest Scholars, that can be allowed in, and who has been there, and actually seen the fragments of these earliest copies of the Gospels.
The earlier copies had been torn into many of the same size pieces, except for a couple actual intact pages of St. Paul’s dating back to before 100AD.

The Catholic Church, headquarters in Rome, was the only legally recognized Christian Church, for at least the first 1000 years, after the time of Jesus. Still the only one with the most original documents.

God’s words are accepted by most religions to be preserved through divine inspiration. Still we must discern, and depending on the beliefs, especially of the many translations, not officially approved by The Catholic Church, that contain known added or subtracted words. Such as the simple word “only”, added by the Monk Martin Luther, added after the word faith, to make scriptures say “faith only” that anyone could be saved, he did this after breaking away from the Church, so as to deny that works or anything one does can save, but only faith.

This is contrary to the sayings of Jesus and the other Prophets, that we would be judged individually, on what we did, even to the very least, even enemies, as St. James said “faith without words is dead”.
Also to be considered is the cultural or patriarchal bias of the translators, as they translated the originals into other languages, as the original intent can easily be mistranslated or misunderstood in another time or place.

The goodness of our own character may be one of the few things we can leave here of value or take into eternal life.
How could inequality be the intent of a Truely Holy and Loving God?

Actions that increase “Equality” in Christian scriptures are in II Corinthians 8:14. The New International Version says: “At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their supply will supply what you need. Then there will be equality”.
Then in verse 15, and also found in the Hebrew Scriptures of Exodus 16:18: “As it is written, He that gathered much did not have too much, and he that gathered little did not have too little.”
So economically Equality has been practiced or should have been, since the beginning of Biblical Scriptures. Not for just your own, Jesus reminds us: “For what reward is that to you, doesn’t everyone by nature care for their own”?

We are to help everyone we can, with our surplus of material things. Emotional and Spiritual help are equally important, even for enemies, if you want a chance to turn then into friends!
Helping and sharing is the way we enter into God’s Will, instead of our own selfish will. To remind us all things have been given and will be given back in the end, so share as you have been blessed and see others needs.

It has been such a blessing to have been raised in a loving home, my parents were Christian believers and we were often in church.  At five when I saw God’s Hand, there was not a more innocent time in my life, unless it was two years earlier, when at three years old, I first remember experiencing myself as a separate identity.

We were at the beach, and even now I can see my mother and younger brother a short distance away, under a beach umbrella, my dad and his brother playing in the ocean waves. Becoming aware of my being, I danced around and around in the sand with great joy and ecstasy. The ocean breezes cooling the hot rays of the sun, that is all I remember of that day, just an awareness of the “I AM” of me!

We were living then in Compton, a little town in Southern California, not far from Long Beach, at the southern end of many little towns in the LosAngeles valley. Between were many oil wells, standing among fields of wildflowers and groves of orange trees.

On an early summer warm morning, I woke early, wide-awake knowing it was my fifth but first real birthday party that afternoon. My parents and brother were still sleeping, so I went out to get our Sunday newspaper.

Came back into the house from the porch and separated it out on the living room rug. Unable to read many words, but by the pictures could usually make out the stories. I had found the funnies one of them, Orphan Annie, was one of my favorite. When suddenly I felt a great rush of power flooding the room and I knew to look up to the center of the wall, directly to what looked like a perfectly formed hand, but yet more than just a human hand.

Neither for sure, male or female looking, just resting on its side, the little finger closest to the wall, so it would have been a right hand. It had a translucent iridescence of many colors. Another sign that God is not limited to one sex or race. “God must love variety because there’s so much of it!” I’ve kinda come to the conclusion that it could have been Jesus Hand as it was turned sideways so I would not be able to see if there was a hole in the Hand or wrist was not seen, except a very small portion of it. It was not scary looking but I was very scared at seeing such a sight.

Many years later, on a TV “Star Wars” show I would see a similar iridescence around the people transported to, or from a space ship. It represented the process of speeding up matter into energy forms, to be able to travel through space. But the star war show showed it like white glitter, this was all colors.

Spiritual forces could be speeded up energy, just not normally seen with our human eyesight. Our physical senses are limited to small ranges of what does exist. We now know about X-rays, ultra sounds, and many other kinds of light forms not normally seen.

Or there is also the possibility that people from other planets that are more advanced then we are trying to help us evolve from cave like people who live as in a savage untamed world, which in some ways we have not been able to progress much. There could also be those from a planet in another solar system, who are here harvesting souls, where ever possible. Which would explain much of the evil nature that overtakes many people, but were not born that way.

The Hand was so alive. Such great power was felt in the room. For a few moments, could only stare in awe, petrified by the sight and experience. Finally, screamed as loudly as I could and ran to my parent’s bedroom. There was more amazement that no one heard such a loud scream or woke up.

Years later, after seeing a commercial for a movie called “The Silent Scream” would finally understand, you can be so scared the voice freezes. You scream in your head but no sound comes out. In some of the Biblical stories of grown men, in the presence of God, they would fall down in a faint from fright. *6
Even when seeing an angel, for it is like a power, strongly felt, without being physically touched.

There is a scripture that says no one can see God and live. If you take this verse as literal and out of its context in which it was written, you would not be able to understand or believe that what I saw was possible or that the stories of Moses and Daniel really happened either. It is true we can see only part of God’s nature, not the fullness of God in this life, that is why only The Hand or in Moses case maybe just a finger was shown.

Misunderstanding scriptures is very common. I have learned God does use the weak and innocent to speak sometimes to the strong. To those who, without realizing it, because of indoctrinations and cultural prejudices on an unconscious level, follow their own or others will instead of God’s more perfect will.

All of us are guilty at times and need to listen carefully to even those who seem less or weaker than ourselves. The fullness of truth we may find hard to hear or accept, also why we need to think of each other as students as well as teachers to each other.

Most of the time, myself included, most of us only feel the presence of God in prayer or worship or when in deep contemplation, like at the wonders of a sunset over an ocean, and sometimes not even then.
For God can feel far away at times, or maybe it is just our interest has strayed far away, on a conscious or unconscious level. And of course some have never known the presence of God or didn’t recognize it as something not to be afraid or run from the experience.

More real than any other experience! God’s Spirit of Holy Love spoke very clearly, at my spiritual “rebirth”, not just in my head, where The Holy Spirit normally speaks or is sensed, but with an outward Divine voice, the single word of “EQUALITY”.

Only that one word, yet so necessary to prevent more war and destruction between us as individuals and as nations. I was in my home alone at the time, and had been praying for guidance, for over two weeks, when ever I could.
If you know you allow God’s Holy Spirit to guide you to the fullness of truth, you can ask and should receive confirmation about “Equality”, or anything else, if you are sure you daily put The Living God of Holy Love, first in your heart, mind and soul.

Sure you have asked for and been forgiven for any wrongs you have done. For me there has been one confirmation after another, during the many years since.
Scriptures tell us God is “not a god of partiality” so we can know, for our own good, we must not be. For prejudice, intolerance, sexism, is not only destructive to others, but also to our own mind and soul in the long run.

“ABBA”

“ABBA” translated “Father” for God
In the Aramaic language of Jesus, also means Mother
Or Our Spiritual Heavenly Parent

Yet it is like walking through quicksand to reach you
to convince you
The Word that Jesus used for God, “ABBA”
means our Spiritual Parent

Can we not reason together?
Each one different and unique
Still One in Spirit.

Each one having equal value and rights
As the word Father when used for God includes Mother
Aramaic Library Documents, Old City, Jerusalem 1985

“WE NEED MORE THAN EVER TO KEEP OUR HEARTS AND MINDS OPEN TO A PERFECT AND LOVING GOD, WHO IS EQUALLY FOR ALL AND WILL WORK THROUGH THOSE WHO WILL LISTEN, FOR THE INTEREST OF ALL.
WHILE IT IS TRUE IN ONE SENSE AND FOR OUR BENEFIT THAT WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME, WE EACH HAVE UNIQUE, INDIVIDUAL GENES AND TRAITS AND ARE RAISED TO REACT AS NO OTHER.
STILL WE ARE, EACH ONE, AN EQUAL PART, A MEMBER OF THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE WITH AN EQUALLY VALUED LIFE.” Anon.

“Love can be shown, for the best life, to always be better to have than its opposite, fear or hate.”

“There is a universal desire for a better life that extends to peace on earth, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness, the basis of the of the world-wide desire for Democracy, of one person, one vote.”
“At the same time, we here, in this great land of America , that makes up only 1/8th of the world’s population, yet we use 3/4’s of the world’s resources.”

Hundreds of Biblical Passages show God is not a god of Partiality or that we are Not to Be Unfair in The Way We Treat Each Other. What can we, you do to make it fairer, more equal for all?

CULTURAL INFLUENCES

My English name is Betty C. Dudney but sometimes I go by my initials of B. or B.C. for I am an American female mongrel, generically! A little bit of French, English, Irish, Cherokee Indian, related to some who are Black and Gypsy too.

Dudney is an English version of the French “Dudonne” from the court of King Louis XIV’s time. Those ancestors fought in the “Huguenot” uprising against the kings greater military forces and were forced to flee to England, later to Ireland and finally to this great land of America.

They arrived just in time to fight again during the States War of Independence from England and France, all for religious and political freedom, for God given rights, of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”, democracy for the people and by the people, still being fought for here, as well as worldwide.

When at last victory came for them, some settled to the south in Kentucky, others went on into the Blue-ridged Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee. Both my father and mother’s great grandparents settled there in that wild, most beautiful land with numerous mountains and valleys.

Some buying land they called Freestate, because no slave would be forced to work there. In the middle, relatives and friends built their own country church surrounded by small farms they worked themselves.

Deer and wildlife abound among the tall pine trees.
After the snows of winter months, wildflowers and blackberries grow wild and so does the stubborn Johnson grass. In these mountains, lots of rain with spectacular lightning storms happens often.

During the civil war, there were relatives who fought on opposite sides, depending on how they interpreted Biblical Scriptures on slavery. Misinterpreting words have caused many bloody “Holy” wars, even among families.

Equal Rights, Religious Freedom, Tolerance or Respect for the Belief of Others, are all aspects of “Equality” necessary to prevent more violence, more wars!

Few people are now willing to live off the land, as they did then, and until about fifty years ago. They had then their own cows, pigs, chickens, fruit trees and made or raised most of what they needed, by selling or trading their surplus. This was before the invention of things like electricity, phones, or automobiles.

They did have horses, wagons, and mules to help with the plowing of the fields. First they had to clear thick brush, trees, and rocks away from the fields near the many streams and rivers of that area.

I can remember my grandmother putting a good size piece of fish, caught by my uncle from the river, into each hill of beans she planted, a good way to replenish the soil in their yearly garden acre.

My dad spent the first couple of years of the great depression in the marines. After returning he married my mother and they moved to Detroit, because there he could find work in a tire factory. I was born at home, for Doctor’s made house-calls then, in June of 1934.
Not long after a workers strike began where my dad worked, started by the workers, one of the first formed in the United States. Needing to work, my dad also realized it would not be right to cross the picket lines.
He understood the needed balance of unions in representing the value of a worker’s time and life energy.             Labor needs an equal voice, to offset the greed for profits in any capitalistic owner vs. worker system.

We had to move back to Tennessee until finally news came about jobs in the oil fields of California.                      Many times growing up, we would travel back and forth, from California to Tennessee.                                                 The old Southern Route 66 was then a narrow dangerous two lane road, sometimes long endless stretches but an  often exciting, and ever changing highway, especially for young curious children.

Such a variety of places and landscapes we would see crossing this beautiful land. There would be long stretches of many kinds of farmland, miles of mysterious swamps and marshes.

Unlike the Freeways now, the two lane highways, like route 66, went right though the main streets of any town in it’s path. Indian women, in their velvet skirts and colorful turquoise in silver jewelry, were strikingly dressed up for shopping in town. We would see Stetson hats and cowboy boots on real cowboys and Indians.

It would take us several days to finally cross the mountains of the great divide and into the western desert states of New Mexico and Arizona, with their bright colored shifting sands. Seemingly endless stretches of Cacti and Joshua trees.

Almost always, we would stop at the Petrified Forest and watch the sun rise on the multicolored Painted Desert, only rarely see the breath taking Grand Canyons, as it meant at least a half day out of our way.

Finally, we would cross over the last great range of the Sierra Mountains, to reach the far, other side, of America. You have to go down and across the great valley, and up again across more costal mountains, to finally reach the majestic Pacific Ocean. There the constantly rolling and pounding roar of endless waves testify to the power within of this largest gift of nature, the oceans.

At eight years old the reality and horror of the Second World War came home to me, as many of our relatives were in actual fighting of the war. War causes all kinds of hell for the survivors of both sides. Again it needs to be said if women had an equal say, with their more natural nesting instincts and less aggressive natures, surely we would have a better chance of avoiding war!

The thing remembered best about my beloved Uncle Dawson was his love of flying, and after he came back from the war, he managed to keep two small planes, so one the mechanics would always have ready to fly. Being the oldest of many cousins, sometimes I was allowed to go into that sea of clear blue skies, into billowy clouds you find often in the valley of middle California near the foothills. We would go above, skim though, and sometimes below them. They seemed like rolling peaks of whipped white frosting or sometimes more like a dense fog would entirely surround us.
He would do somersaults and backward flips and climb as high as possible, to go diving down feeling the G’s of gravity.

It took me many years to just begin to understand why “bad things happen to good people” and why the “sun and rain fall on both the good and bad”. Jesus reminded “his” followers we were to expect trials and persecutions, in this life.* 7
We can be sure that which is unequal and unfair is not from a Holy, Just God, who is the only one worth worshiping!!

No perfect life here has been promised. Even in times of peace we can expect to have our own hard times that test us, these tend to make us “better or bitter”. Injustices in our life can teach us compassion or they can do the opposite and harden our hearts.

The middle of California is a long, rich agricultural valley. Looking up now, sometimes through a soup of pollution, 4th most polluted in the nation, as it comes from both the North and South of California. East is the spectacular high Sierra’s topped by Mt. Whitney, around 14,000 ft., huge 2000 year old Redwood trees in Sequoia National Park, big enough you can actually drive a car through one.

Just as breathtaking are the rugged coastlines to the West or Central and California, such as the area called Big Sur.

In Tennessee during the sultry heat of mid-summer, deer, squirrels, a variety of snakes, bumblebees, and humans gather. All would vie after the finally ripening blackberries that grow wild all over the countryside. They make the best of summer pies and a sweet rich wine.

At night lightening bugs swim throughout the air, giving an eerily glow to the long sweaty evenings. In winter, if you have a fireplace or warm house, it can seem like a fairy wonderland with icicles hanging on the endless pasture fences.
Such places just naturally soothe the soul, bringing on cosmic laughter with a sense of peace within.

TENNESSEE SUNSET

I HEAR THE WILLOWS CREEP
I HEAR THE CRICKETS CALL
THE NIGHTINGALE HAS SUNG HER EVENING SONG
FIREFLIES LIGHT THE MAGIC NIGHT
COME SIT DOWN BESIDE ME LOVE
LET US REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE YOUNG
HOW WE LOVED TO CLIMB THE MOUNTAINS
COSMIC LAUGHTER WAS OUR ONLY GOAL
MAYBE WE CAN PLANT A NEW GARDEN IN THE SPRING
TO FORGET THE WINTERS SOON TO BE

A BUTTERFLY

Over the years our growing family would almost yearly return to this beloved homeland for visits to our families in Tennessee. Once we even tried farming again but a few poor seasons of being tenant farmers spelled disaster, so we returned, finally to the middle of California, and to the long San Joaquin Valley.
We moved during my fourth grade. To a little town called Delano then only about 8000 people. There were ten to fifteen miles of grape vineyards and flat fields of cotton between and surrounding many little communities.

A town divided by a two-lane highway called the old 99 and parallel railroad tracks but even more by color and culture. This was many years before the sleepy little town would wake up to a National debate of whether farm workers should be treated with equal respect, toilets in the fields or decent wages, the workers who have the backbreaking and often dangerous job of putting food on our tables.

My father was a kind and deeply religious man who became a 32-degree Mason, as were most of the other businessmen in our community. My mother was an active member of the Eastern Star.  At sixteen I was voted Chaplin in “Job’s Daughters”, which meant so very much to me, at the time.

Before that during my twelfth year, at a summer church camp, I had a long, seemingly one-sided, talk with God, for even in praying I would not hear God’s voice, just often a feeling of a loving presence.
It was only to a loving God that I was willing to commit my life, with a promise of obedience, as being wiser and more knowing than my own limited, human knowledge could be.

Also there was an inner call of poverty, perhaps my needed protection against being caught up in seeking worldly possessions, instead of laying up spiritual treasures that can not rust, or turn to dust. *8
Remember asking if I needed to live like a nun and renounce my desire to eventually marry and have children. The only answer was the feeling it was being left up to me! Freedom is a precious thing a Loving God wants us to have as much as possible.

There are advantages and disadvantages to every state in life! It seems only the extra strength we get from being close to a Loving and Merciful God can get us through the rough times of everyday life. Extra trials may need extra closeness!
The worship of a false god, with less than perfect love, can also lead to the death of your spirit and soul, because it won’t stand by ready to pick you up when you realize you’re going in the wrong direction. That’s why we are to put no other god before this one Perfect Loving God of All.

My parents had been able to borrow enough money to start a little business but Dad died not too many years later, when I was a few days from fifth-teen. It became my mother’s heroic efforts to take over the operation of the business, working from sunup to sundown that allowed us to survive, stay together, and even expand to a few new dry-cleaning outlets.

My curiosity about spiritual matters and different religions led me to read and study all the many beliefs and dogmas I could find. That interest has continued over the years. There seems to be as many ways to rationalize beliefs, as there are thinking people.
A college course in logic helped me to realize our beliefs are based on the present information we have at any one time. There are always unknown, or X factors, that once known or accepted into our reasoning, can change our way of seeing or thinking.

Even the understanding of words we hold sacred and non-changeable can take on different meanings. For the words are not the things they attempt to express. They are but shadows of what is real. We are not to worship the words but the Spirit of Love behind the words.

SHADOWS OF REALITY

WORDS ARE NOT THE THINGS
ONLY SHADOWS OF WHAT IS REAL.
WORDS CAN BECOME ILLUSIONS OR CONFUSIONS
IF WE LET THEM BE .

WE KNOW THAT SOME REASONS FOR WORDS                                                                                                                     ARE SO WE CAN BE KIND, GENTLE,                                                                                                                   COMMUNICATE EASILY WITH LIFE’S HAPPENING.

TO EQUALLY LOVE ONE ANOTHER IS NOT SO STRANGE
WHEN WE LOOSEN THE ROPES
OF UNFAIR TRADITIONS WRAPPED IN WORDS.
“I LOVE YOU” ARE THE WORDS BUT NOT THE THINGS
OF CARING, SHARING, “LOVING ONE ANOTHER”.

B.C.

“WE ARE EACH TRAINED IN CHILDHOOD BY
IMPERFECT PARENTS AND SIGNIFICANT OTHERS.
SOMETIMES TO JUSTIFY A  FALSE GOD AND INJUSTICE
TO EACH OTHER BY PARTIAL TRUTHS
THAT WE AT SOME POINT CHOOSE TO BELIEVE.”

“SOME DO TEACH A GODLY LOVE FOR ALL,                                                                                                                      EVEN ENEMIES, AS WELL AS FRIENDS.
YET SOME, IN IGNORANCE AND SOME FROM A                                                                                                   DELIBERATE MISUSE OF GOD’S WORD                                                                                                                                   FOR THEIR OWN GAIN, FAME, OR POWER,
TWIST WORDS OUT OF THEIR CONTEXT,
THEIR ORIGINAL MEANING.”
WE NEED GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT TO DISCERN!

Equality is Equal Respect. The Essence of All Golden Rules
Why Complicate our Beliefs if not to Hide
These Greater Swords of Truth?
Have we Never been Taught or Learned
To Treat Each Other Lovingly, Fairly, Honestly?
Equality is not found by following gods of self, greed or fame  that Capture and Enslave so many Good Souls

Enough! “Basta” Enough!
We are but One Small Planet, Among Many
Our Future Depends On Us
To Deflect All the Negative Forces, maybe even Comets  on Our Path!
May You Continue to Feel the Quickening and  Allow the Spirit of Holy Love to Guide
So You Will Know, Without Being Told What is Right To Do

REVELATIONS

Supernatural revelations only began to become rationally understandable, for some, since the scientific work of those, like Professor Einstein’s, as in Quantum Mechanics. That demonstrate both matter and unseen energy forces could be interchangeable, in both living and “non-living” matter.

That means Energy, the core of our life’s existence, can change into other forms! Speed up or slow down, depending on the physical, even mental conditions.

He also demonstrated time as a human means of measurement and/or relationships to a place, connected to the speed of motion, or the speed of light. Such studies have changed most of the former taught ideas of time and space.
Centuries of dogmatic and unjustified certainty have been the cause of much intolerance and prejudice towards others. While we keep learning more, the knowing of what we don’t know also increases.

We know now we live in a universe that is beyond our five physical senses. Revelations and visions can be understood as natural or as supernatural observations.
Religious truths are based primarily on past personal revelations and visions. They may come from a valid source, yet become fallible when communicated through human words that depend on a personal or cultural definition, or misleading translations, or misunderstandings.

During a spiritual birth or rebirth one can experience the infinite, and have a knowing of themselves as a beloved child of this infinite Divine Love, yet we still remain finite and fallible, while in our human form in this life.
Even without supernatural revelations there can be the observation of order and great beauty, with a natural hope, and the Universal belief, that death is not the end.

Many things add up to evidence of a supreme or universal intelligence that we can call A Heavenly Being, expressed as A Holy Love that can live within each of us, as well as in others.
There is at least the best kind of logic about life that regardless of what is or isn’t, it is “better to go towards the best that is possible, rather than the worst”!

Whatever we fall into the habit of wanting and doing in our lives tends to take control over our minds. What we worship, or look up to, can become a god to us. For many people, it becomes material things, money, fame, or success of some sort, worldly, finite, limited things that can not last.

If we idolized a human they can deceive or misuse us out of ignorance or their own selfishness. Religious words, like political words, even social words are sometimes misused for the self-interest and greed of a few and the control of many.

While the original words from God in scriptures may be infallible or divinely inspired, we still need the fullness of truth for today! This fullness of truth, Jesus said, the people in Biblical days were not then able to fully receive or understand. *9
Parables are a form of moral, symbolic, not literal, stories, told by word of mouth, as the printing press was not invented until the 1500’s. Parables were the ancient way of teaching.
If taken literally can cause you to miss the message, so you will be mislead or mislead. The purer your heart and motives the clearer you can “see”.

Scriptures also contains proverbs or wise sayings, psalms or songs, as well as religious history, not to be taken necessarily, as actual history, as people write from and for their own cultural viewpoint.

FEW ARE ABLE TO DISCERN THE MOTIVES OF OTHERS.                                                                                                      IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO KNOW OUR OWN, MOST OF THE TIME.

ONLY WHEN YOU ASK THE PERFECT SPIRIT OF HOLY LOVE                                                                                             TO GUIDE YOUR HEART, YOUR ACTIONS,                                                                                                                            CAN YOU POSSIBLY KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT TO DO.

WHEN WE CONTINUE TO KEEP OURSELVES IN THE POWER  OF GOD’S HAND OF HOLY LOVE THEN WE CAN HAVE A SPIRITUAL VICTORY IN THIS LIFE AND THE PROMISE OR HOPE FOR ETERNAL LIFE.

By the worship of ourselves, others, or things we are caught in the trap of Idolatry, and create for ourselves and others a false image of God.
It is only when we commit ourselves, in sorrow for past wrongs, and daily tries to follow a perfect Holy God, with all our heart, mind, and soul, that we can expect to have the best possible guidance, and not be controlled by false gods!

Life is a coming and a going, a going towards what is better or towards what is worst. When we quit opening our minds to growing in wisdom, we start to stagnate and go towards the death of mind.
Our knowledge is dependent on presently known factors. New facts can, and have changed what we may once have believed to be true, as human knowledge is conditional, a part of our nature.

Since all the possible X factors can not be known by our finite minds, we can never be sure we have nothing else to know or learn!
How we interpret what we do know is determined by our deepest motives. In limited, damaged, or closed minds, a positive real feeling or emotion can seem to us dangerous, fearful, or even foolish

We can easily make a god out of human words, from those in authority over us, what we have been told or accept as sacred. It can be hard to separate which is from God and which comes from men’s ways. How important not to worship or make a god out of fallible human words. For their words may or may not be inspired by God but either way, they are not God or the fullness of God and must be seen in context to their times and original meanings.

Most of us will stay in the religion we were raised in, or seldom stray far away from our cultural beliefs. It is our nature to tend to think our beliefs right, others wrong. The more insecure we are the more we cling to what we think we know or only what we are taught!

We also tend to think of God as a male, or some a female, a few some other image of nature. This is also “Idolatry” or a false worship. The Ten Commandments, from Moses, first warns us not to worship a lesser god and then tell us not to make and worship a created or physical image of God. *10

The Spirit of Holy Love that has intelligence, infinite wisdom and power cannot be limited to a male or female material image! Such Idolatry is a dangerous sin because it creates an imbalance of thinking and causes us to be misled by a false god, while thinking we are being led by the real God.

The study of what God has said, in the past, to be fully understood, has to also be understood by how ancient people thought and communicated through their language.
Understanding some Biblical stories are adaptations of older pagan stories, rather than unique to Jewish or Christian history. In studying ancient religious texts, researchers have found stories that predate, or were before, Biblical stories, about the creation, the fall of man, and a great flood, about deaths and resurrections, as well as virgin births, as Saviors or Messiahs are found in most ancient beliefs. Meanings like the translated Genesis word for “day” in the early, and at that time very simple, desert tribesmen’s language of the early Hebrews could also mean an age or long period of time as well as a 24-hour period.

Genesis is a collection of creation stories. Written from about 1000-500 B C, in its present form, of which there are various translations. Genesis means “Beginnings”, handed down and told by word of mouth, by campfires, in desert tents and later in the temples of the priesthood.

The first story, in the first chapter of Genesis, is called the priestly version of creation. In this story and in the third creation story (chapter five) it is twice repeated that both male and female were created in God’s Image.

The second creation story found in the second chapter is a Hebrew tribal story, possibly originating from an African tribe, for the stories are almost exactly the same, even with the talking snake, only the names of the man and woman being different. Yet it is the more preached on version from at least the dark ages, as it is used to blame and justify inequality as being Eve’s or womens fault. It reflects more the jungle code and cavemen style, as well as desert tribesmen, were might means right.

Still the word “rib” also means “side” in the ancient Hebrew language. “Helpmate or “handmaid” is often what is translated into English, instead of the more probable and true meaning of “equal valued companion”.

The Hebrew word for “Adam” also means “Humankind”, a generic as well as a male name. Much the same way our English word “man” or “men” can mean both male and female, as in “mankind”, unless otherwise specified.
This second creation story is at the least, an ancient parable way of expressing human kind, created into male and female, from the One nature of God. We find throughout most of nature, males are actually created from the female, not the other way around.

Many Biblical words, when translated into English, can take on a different meaning than may have originally been meant. Such as the N.T. word, often translated as, “silence” for women in the church, Paul used, would be better translated from the context as “to be in order”.

This is an example of a “Rhema” word or for that specific situation, for that time, as compared to a “Logos” (lasting) word that is not confined to a specific situation. In other places Paul speaks of women as fellow workers, and Priscilla as teaching a Jewish male convert. *11
Paul was writing about women from recent pagan backgrounds who were use to worshipping idols with much noise, he is trying to get them to worship in a quieter way. He mentions church services by women in other places. *12
Paul came from the Jewish tradition of his time that kept women separated from men, yet he says in his Christian maturity that “In Christ, we are one there is neither male or female”. Galatians 3:28.

Is the Spirit of God in a woman any less than in a man? Are the Holy Spirit gifts just for males? Of course not, women were given voices and hands the same as men to share the equal love of God. No one is above any other or below any other! Yet negative feelings can deceive us, make us feel inferior or create a need to feel superior to others.

When you choose to follow a God of Perfect Love, who is not a god of partiality and treat others with equal fairness, you will find God’s peace within you and with others.
As you go towards the better, more perfect way, the less you want to be selfish, and begin to think more of what is best for others as well as yourself.

Seeking the truth is what most is worthy to go towards. It saves us from going into fantasy and self-delusion. Having faith does not mean we are required to believe that which we can’t conceive of to be true or is not the better way for all.

Spiritual experiences exist and are possible to experience. Exactly what they are about, we may have to accept in faith, as being beyond our complete understanding at this time. Not unlike most of our generally accepted kind of knowledge, like electricity, or X-ray vision! What we can be sure of is that we do not have to worship something less than a Holy Love.

It has been many more years now since I heard the Divine Word of “Equality” during my spiritual rebirth. The wisdom and logic of all people’s equal value can be verified by the worldwide desire and struggle for freedom, equal opportunity, and an attempt to end political dictatorships.

Especially since the civil rights movement, many here have been trying to make a reality of the American Constitution that says, God created all equal, and we have an inherent or God given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

CROSSING BRIDGES

CROSSING BRIDGES INTO THE UNKNOWN
SHOULD IT BE SO HARD TO DO,
TO STEP INTO A WOMAN’S SHOE?
FOR EACH OF US ARE OF A MINORITY HERE.

MANY YEARS AGO I HEARD GOD SPEAK
THE SINGLE WORD OF “EQUALITY”
MANY THINGS HAVE CONFIRMED SINCE THEN
THAT ONLY “EQUALITY”, WHICH IS LIKE SAYING
THE GOLDEN RULE, WILL GIVE US THE DIVINE PEACE
WE SEEK.
PRAY FOR MERCY, FORGIVENESS,
PRAY FOR GOD’S BLESSINGS AND NOT JUDGMENT.
FIRST ASK YOURSELF WHO DO YOU SERVE?
A GOD OF EQUALITY, OR IS GOD TO YOU
A GOD OF INEQUALITY?

PREJUDICE

Prejudice is a fear, a negative destructive fear, a fear of someone  or something that is different, culture, race, beliefs, even a difference in sex and age. It is learned usually in childhood, through our families, friends    and from the moral and legal standards in which we live in.

To overcome the fear of differences we need to recognize that we are each a little different from each other. Each a unique child in this world, it is only when we treat each other as the one family of God we are, can we expect to be treated fairly by others. Not always by the immature, but by most.

It is up to each one of us to watch what we say and do and when our tongues or actions are belittling others, to realize we are thinking little of ourselves or God, or the consequences. Even when we think we are right!

To grow in love and peace, we have to reach out in kindness or charity to all. Tell me what is it when people do not want women or minorities to have the same opportunities and rights they want? Rights they are willing to go to war and kill for, or send their young ones to fight!

Tell me what is left in a human soul who prefers keeping over half of our world’s population in subjection to the other half? Do not tell me any God worth worshiping ordains it, A God of Love and Equal Justice?
The words you listen to and follow are important for the well being of our world and your soul. When you put good and holy words into your heart your faith will grow and your heart will heal from hurt and sorrows.

In the same way when you listen to a lot of evil or bad words the light of faith and trust can dim and you can end up lost in a world of darkness.
Words are power. Tools to be used with care, they can make a difference, a good difference when spoken with love. Words can be flower seeds or weed seeds. Yielding a harvest of many times more than what you first plant.

Some of the best words are like music to our ears and spirit. “Good work”! “Let me help you”, “I forgive you”, “I’m sorry”, “You can do it”, “Thank You”, “I love you”.
Hurtful words can be as painful as being struck physically. They can affect others in a negative manner. Parents especially and those in authority over children must be careful with their words. Even those said in jest or fun can hurt feelings and too many put down insults can stunt the growth of a healthy self-image.

“If your words do not build up and encourage it is better to say nothing at all. This can be easier said than done. Don’t expect perfection from yourself or others just continue to go towards it and not deliberately away from that which you know is the best.
Praise is like food to our souls and spirits, for praise reminds us we are important, remembered, needed, and welcome. Children have a special need for encouragement as they grow in self-confidence. We all, at any age, need to hear loving rather than harmful words.

Expressing gratitude or thankfulness indicates a deepening of our personal growth and is a sign of maturity. As does an apology that lets others know you care about their feelings and what they think and that you value your relationship with them.

When we say “I’m sorry” we are attempting to undo a wrong we admit we have done. We can also just be avoiding more trouble!!
To say “I forgive you” is to free yourself from the discomfort and chains of holding a grudge. One that if not put behind you can weigh both on your mind and spirit. Telling someone you forgive them does not condone the wrong, nor is it a weak thing, one has to be strong to forgive.

Look to God or the example of Jesus, for the art of forgiving, there you will find the necessary strength and patience. Consider the words of the Jesus Prayer “Forgive us as we forgive others” “And whenever you pray, forgive, if you have any thing against anyone,” “As God has forgiven you, so you must forgive.”*13

It is a Universal teaching in religions that we receive judgment either in this life or in the next, according to the good or evil we do. For those who do not believe in an afterlife, it is an accepted psychological fact that, how we treat others reflects like a mirror the way we feel about ourselves and affects us in a positive or negative way.

“Equality” is the balance in our relationships that we need, especially today, to prevent more war and injustices, between ourselves and each other. War among nations is just “legalized violence” and never the best way.

THERE CAN BE NO PEACE WITHOUT “EQUALITY”                                                                                                         EQUAL RIGHTS AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.

BECAUSE OF PAST HURTS MANY BLAME GOD                                                                                                                     FOR NOT PREVENTING THAT WHICH CAUSES HUMAN SUFFERING.                                                                          I’VE BEEN GUILTY MYSELF.

TO FIND THE  SOURCE  OF MUCH  EVIL, THE HURT OF EACH OTHER,                                                                       WE HAVE TO RECOGNIZEE OUR IMPERFECT WORLD, NATURE.

WE ARE STILL GROWING, AT LEAST EMOTIONALLY, OR SPIRITUALLY,                                                                     AS HUMANS TRYING TO LIVE IN AN EVER CHANGING WORLD,                                                                              WITH UNKNOWN X’S.

GOD NEVER PROMISED US A CONTINUAL ORCHARD                                                                                                         OR A “ROSE” GARDEN, ONLY THE POTENTIAL AND                                                                                              STRENGTH TO ENDURE. IT IS “THE RAIN THAT CAUSES                                                                                                 THE FLOWERS TO BLOOM AS WELL AS THE MUD”.

“IS THERE A SUPERIOR SEX?”

In recent years researchers at the University of Chicago have found the genetic switch in the Y chromosome that triggers the series of biological changes necessary to become a male, from the female!
Science has long known that everybody at conception is female but has not understood the precise biological mechanism that changes the female embryo to male.

“For the first weeks after conception, all mammal embryos start forming the basic female structures, uterus, fallopian tubes and vagina. Not until 35-40 days does a gene called SPY turn on and signal another gene, called MIS that removes the female structures and activates a specific male pattern”. *14

Males are by nature often physically stronger, but mentally females tend to develop and mature faster.
“Boys are four to five times more likely to suffer from language disabilities as girls. “Men commit almost all the violent crime.” They seem to be naturally more aggressive.

These differences may be partly from having more aggressive male hormones and because they tend to be ruled primarily from only the left hemisphere of their brains, while females tend to use verbal skills, controls, and reasoning from both hemispheres.
Hyperactivity, alcoholism, and schizophrenia are more male disorders, while women tend to have phobias, anxieties, and monthly mood swings from more frequent changes in their level or amount of both male and female hormones.

The female immune system is more complex, partly because of fine-tuning needed during pregnancy. It may become over efficient and attack the body, as it seems to do in immune system illnesses like Rheumatoid Arthritis, which affects women four times more often than men.
Men’s brains may also be more aggressive, maybe partly because for so long they were primarily hunters having to leave the home. While women, left to breast feed the children, were tied closer to the home. Now our many technologies give us a choice that does not have to be determined by sex or physical strength.

The other half of the womens movement is for men. Their sense of who they are often is based on their work. It helps to define them in other ways, such as being a good dad to their children or helping at home when both work at outside jobs.
Restricting women today to roles of the past is like limiting men to those of the horse and buggy days because they fit the image or traditions of the past.
As people feel better about themselves, they find it easier to say no to have to do or be too much, so they can more fully enjoy their lives. They can accept they are not perfect but want to grow and become more than ever before.

Are we our brother’s keeper? Who is my brother? Those related by blood or by race, religion? There are only four major blood types and two of those are usually interchangeable! Humans are much more related and alike than we are different!

Whether male or female we both have the same kind of hormones, the amount of each is what gives us our sexual characteristics. Praise God for our differences, and may they help not hinder us in learning how to live together in mutual cooperation instead of destructive competition.

We are in many ways intricately interconnected. Even in our many world wide multi/national economical systems that did not exist fifty or less years ago. What happens to each one affects the rest, in a wave ripple of causes and effects.
Lack of economic and educational opportunity affects us later by the cost of welfare, crime and even survival, such as from drunk, non-caring, mad, or spiteful drivers.
The best can only happen by our collective will and efforts to end inequality in our personal life, religious as well as economic and political systems. This can result when we allow Holy Love into our heart and be determined to follow the best possible path.

All over the world we are in transition, some see as an ongoing and decisive battle between forces of good and evil, between slavery and freedom.
Is it necessary to stop indoctrinating children into sexist or prejudice groups? In order to stop sexism, must people stay away from such groups, or stay within, to help end the inequalities? It is a personal decision between each one as they perceive God’s Will for their lives.

Twice I have been given specific spiritual signs to work within The Catholic Church, which is still into inequality in actions if not words.
There is much at stake! Not only in eternal life but the peace available that can only come from having a personal friendship, lasting relationship with God who gives us the strength and the courage needed to live through the worst of circumstances.

Prejudice is often planted so deep within that we are unaware of it. A result of the attitude of parents, teachers, relatives, and others we have looked up to, from their words and actions. Then we grow up either repeating the cycle, or becoming aware it is not right and change it for a better way.

To change can be difficult to do. As most good things in life are often harder to do or achieve than what seems like, at first, an easier way, but with a greater cost, or lost, later.
For example, it is hard to get up and get going, especially when we try to fudge on getting enough rest. Easy to do a sloppy job, harder to do the best you can do, easy to give in to our worldly temptations, harder to hold out for your highest ideals.

The poverty of many people in our world does not point only to their personal efforts but to the economic exploitation of our unequal distribution systems, and the misuse or unfair use of the world’s resources.

Some want to disclaim any responsibility for the actions of others or ancestors long gone. Yet everyone wants to receive as much as their own ancestors have made possible and do not see this as a logical or moral contradiction.
We cannot love others unless we love ourselves in a healthy way. A real love for ourselves, for others and what we call God is based on equal respect and concern. Just as it is our nature to want to be equally or fairly treated.

Equality, or the lack of it, can create a heaven or hell here on earth, in how we treat each other and ourselves. It becomes a personal problem when we find a wrong within us and do not try to correct it. At that point we become responsible or culpable, for sinful or evil actions.

There is much evidence, as well as Biblical prophecies, that indicate we are near the end of a long age of worldly rule mostly by negative forces. There is also evidence it could go on or worst for another 500 years from Chapters 13-14 of the allotted time of evil in our world.

We are at a great turning point in deciding how much more inequality and destruction in our world we will allow, or be allowed to go through, without much world-wide destruction!
Will we get so close to our own moral destruction that the spiritual forces of life will be unable to save many? Our “free will” freedom keeps us from being slaves, and maybe why God chooses to work primarily through our hands.

THE BELLS OF ST. MICHAEL

SADLY THEY PEAL
CALLING THE SPIRITUALLY DEAD
JOYFULLY THEY PLAY
CO-CREATING WITH THE YOUNG AT HEART

LOUDLY THEY SOUND THE CALL TO MORAL ARMS
STRONGLY THEY RING
TO SILENCE INJUSTICE

After several painful experiences, during my teen years, it became apparent how many bad things can happen to good people, through no fault of their own and not of their choice.

It began a period of nine years of anger and doubt with God, for allowing so many evils to continue in our world. There was no desire to worship such a God. I felt anger, but not bitter, so it still made sense to go towards the best of life, rather than go towards the worst!

During my last year of high school I worked afternoon and evenings as a nurse’s aide in our little 32-bed local hospital. Later to a year of Nursing School, where I realized I liked working in the laboratory best. After three more years of laboratory training, was able to pass the state license test and get a good paying job as a Medical Technologist.

No longer talking or confirming anything with God, even doubting one existed, would end up with the wrong man for me. It would take nine years to leave finally and not until I realized how the unhappiness of the marriage was also hurting the children.

After about a year of building my self-esteem back, felt good about being free and had a satisfying, well paying job but there was still a big spiritual emptiness in my life. A need I had tried to fill by being a good wife and mother and making the husband my god. Humans are never perfect and “You cannot serve two masters” *15
Real love cannot exist unless we see ourselves as equals. Otherwise one will tend to take advantage and the other will get even in some subtle, even unconscious way. Eventually it leads to one or both looking elsewhere.

It became my deepest desire to find again the once felt presence of God. There was no immediate answer from my asking and praying, determined to know for sure, for two weeks continued to pray. From the time I first woke up, during moments at work, and after work in the quiet evening hours, sought with all my heart and soul to experience God again.
By the second Sunday of praying so constantly, felt completely prayed out, or up! The children were visiting their father and grandparents. I was alone in the house. Sitting down in a comfortable living room chair it seemed time to give up asking. My thoughts were “Guess there isn’t a real God who can answer me”.

Suddenly, that great power filled the room, the same power felt at five years old. This time there was no seeing of God’s Hand, but throughout my being felt washed from the top of my head to my feet by a perfect and holy love. Called a “rebirth” *16 or being born from heaven, a spiritual baptism of God’s Holy Spirit.

In great sorrow for my lack of faith and doubts, again renewed the vows I’d made at twelve years old, this time adding the vow not to marry again if my life could be used to make this a better world for my children, all children to grow up in.
In many days of praying had already repented of all past wrong actions or sins. There was the great feeling of forgiveness and peace that comes into the heart and mind the Peace only God can give.

A very clear, neither male nor female voice spoke the word “EQUALITY”.
“Equality” best sums up the non-partiality of God in most religious scriptures. This morality is needed in our relationships with each other, to live the best possible life.

Numerous scriptures in most of our world religions tells us the God of Love and Justice is “not a god of partiality” *17 This God is like a perfect parent or best friend who is able to help us grow in love and respect for each other so we all benefit.

There is evidence of other negative spiritual forces in our universe that are here for other reasons, than to help. Without the Holy Spirits protection our spirits or soul can be enslaved, or even captured by them, “for a time and more times”, no one knows for how long, and many believe forever! I believe that may be possible if you have no-one willing to pray or care for you.

There are universal truths that are found in the religions who believe in a loving and just God, whatever name they give for God, and they all say we are to treat other people fairly.

The law of love breaks down when it is not applied to all. It becomes not love but a form of selfishness when concern for others is limited just to our immediate family, friends, fellow believers, nation, or to the male half and not equally for the female half.

An equal love for all people is foreign to most of us because we have grown up in a world of inequality, of pecking orders. A world influenced by negative forces often in control, so we have the tendency to worship many things except an equally loving God.

When inequality is taken as God’s will it cause a hardness and lack of love in our hearts, the same hardness that even today leaves many women in slave like bondage, as well as demeaning and/or cruel treatment of their children.
